The FE46 Elliptical steps up from the FE44 model in a few areas listed below, most notably stride length and Heart Rate Control. The console and display are laid out for simplicity and ease of use. The console/computer offers 14 pre-set programs and “one touch” controls for resistance. The display is large and easy to view with a vibrant blue backlight. The programs also consist off 2 Heart Rate Control programs. Heart Rate Control allows your heart rate to communicate with the treadmill directly. The elliptical will automatically change its resistance continually during your workout to keep you at the specific rate you enter. A heart rate chest strap is included for use with these programs. There are also HandGrip Pulse Monitors as part of the console. You simply grip them with each hand and the display will give you a heart rate reading.
